Probate, Estate and Trust Administration, and Real Estate

AMY LEE SLADE has concentrated her practice in probate of estates, wills and trusts, trust administration, and real estate since she was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in January 2001. She is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School (J.D., Cum Laude, 2000) and Allegheny College (B.A., 1988), and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Ms. Slade assists clients in the probating of wills in the Probate Court, handling all procedural issues including the settling of tax and other obligations, and attending to the distribution of estate assets to those entitled.  Ms. Slade advises clients in the development of personalized estate plans that fits their needs and concerns.  Such estate plans usually include preparation of a health care proxy, a durable power of attorney, a will, and oftentimes one or more trusts.

Ms. Slade also practices real estate law, representing both residential buyers and sellers, and has assisted in the creation of numerous condominium developments.

Ms. Slade is a resident of Arlington and actively volunteers for charitable organizations.  She is a member of the Board of Directors, Massachusetts 4-H Foundation (2002 – present), a member of the Board of Directors for My World, Inc. (2005 – present), a member of the Arlington Preservation Fund (2006 – Present), a Member of the Board of Directors for the Henry O. Peabody School for Girls Foundation (2006 – present), a member of the Board of Directors for the Playmates Preschool, St. Andrews Episcopal Church (2006 – present) as well as very active with her church, All Saints’ Episcopal Church, Belmont, MA (2000 – present).
