Arnold W. (“Tom”) Hunnewell, Jr. joined Simonds, Winslow in 2002 and has practiced law for over ten (10) years.  Mr. Hunnewell concentrates in the areas of business and real estate law, and a significant portion of Mr. Hunnewell’s practice also consists of estate planning and the administration of trusts and estates.  Mr. Hunnewell also devotes a portion of his professional time to private trustee activities.  In the business context, Mr. Hunnewell advises closely-held and family-controlled businesses in connection with their ongoing operations, financing needs, strategic partnerships and joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions.  Mr. Hunnewell also advises real estate clients in connection with commercial borrowing transactions, purchases and sales of both commercial and residential property, leasing activities, and conservation restriction planning. 

Mr. Hunnewell graduated from Boston College Law School in 1996, and he received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Connecticut College in 1991. 

Mr. Hunnewell also serves as a Director of The Neighborhood House Charter School Foundation, a non-profit foundation that supports the operations of the Neighborhood House Charter School, a charter school located in Dorchester, MA.  Mr. Hunnewell lives in Boston with his wife, Jennifer, and their three-year old son, Tommy.
